ILLICIT DRUGS: NDLEA intercepts cartons of Indomie filled with Tramadol worth N19m

John Ugwu, a suspect who owned the shop opposite Mubi General Hospital, has been remanded in custody pending conclusion of investigation
NDLEA, Adamawa Command, on Thursday, intercepted 1.31 tonnes of illicit drugs which were concealed in noodles’ cartons. The drugs were valued at N19million.
A thorough search had led to the discovery of 183 cartons of Indomie noodles which were filled with 1.316 tonnes of Tramadol 225 mg tablets.
