Meet the Highest paid Nigerian footballer in Europe in 2018.

Kelechi Promise Iheanacho is the highest paid Nigerian footballer.  He was born on October 3, 1996. His homeland is Imo State, Nigeria. In early years he represented Taye Academy in Owerri, Imo.
At the moment, the highest paid Nigerian footballer is the forward of the team Leicester City. One of his most important achievements is the title of world champion in the age category up to 17 years.

Manchester City
In January 2014, he signed a contract with the English club Manchester City.

Iheanacho made his debut in the adult team on August 29, 2015, in the match of the 4th round of the Premier League against Watford.

He scored the first goal for the club on September 12, 2015, at the Crystal Palace gate in the 5th round of the championship.

January 30, 2016, young forward made a hat-trick at the Aston Villa gate in the match of the FA Cup.

In 64 games, he has scored 21 goals for Manchester during all time of performances.

Leicester City
August 3, 2017, Iheanacho moved to Leicester City. The contract with the player is designed for five years. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but previously the British media reported that the transfer amount is to be £25 million (about €27.9 million).
Career in the national team
In 2013, the young player took part in the junior soccer World Cup. At the tournament, he showed himself well in all matches and his team won the title of world champion.

In the debut match with the Mexicans, Kelechi was noted with four goals scored. He also hit the gates of the Iranians, scored in the final match with the Mexican national team.

Iheanacho won the Golden Ball and the Silver Shoe.

For the main team, this soccer player debuted on November 13, 2015, in the qualifying match for the World Cup 2018 against the Swaziland club. The meeting ended in a goalless draw.

On May 27, 2016, Iheanacho scored his first goal for the team.
