Lawmakers in longest Closed-door meeting as tension mounts

The Senate had a meeting which started at about 10:53 am to about 1:20 pm on Tuesday. The meeting was presided by, the Senate president Bukola Saraki.

It was reported earlier today that heavy security was seen around the national assembly as the lawmakers were locked in the chamber while holding the meeting.

Details to the meeting are still not known but findings by PoliticsNGR indicate that it might be related to the recent harassment of a serving senators.
